1 To log into the router, open your web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar. You can also click the link in this email.

2 Use your username and password to log in. The username and password are both “admin” by default.

3 Click ADVANCED

4 There will be a message saying, “A new firmware upgrade is available.” “Click here to get it” is next to the ADVANCED button you just clicked.

5 You will be given the option to upgrade to the new version. Click “Yes.”

6 The new firmware will now be downloaded and installed. Wait 4–8 minutes.

7 After download, it will install automatically.

8 After install, router settings will update. Wait for reboot.
