This means the sync is now complete.

Finally wrap up the Netgear AC1200 setup by repositioning the extender to its final location. Position the extender in between the router and the wifi dead spot. Just make sure the router’s signals at this spot are not less than 50 percent.

Then go to its settings. Turn on wifi. Now pair up with the network “Netgear_EXT”.  Thereafter, on the same device open a web browser. After you do the same, take your cursor to the URL column and use your keyboard to type mywifiext.net. Push the enter key. This brings you to the setup panel. Tap on Start New Setup. Fill in the details and tap Next. Choose extender mode, select the router’s network and finally fill up the accurate password. Tap Next.

Finally you can give a unique name to your AC1200’s network and for security reasons also assign a strong password. Tap Next to save the changes. Finally connect your smart device to the new network and end the Netgear AC1200 setup process here. The only thing you now need to do is reposition the extender strategically.
